| Thermotech sets for export to Spain | | Thermotech, supplier of underfloor heating and tap water systems, has signed a dealer contract with Energesis Home, a subsidiary company of Energesis Group located in Valencia. | Energesis Group is a Spanish leading engineering in R&D works, geothermal
commercial projects and energy efficiency tasks. Energesis Home focus on the geothermal residential market with Thermotech underfloor heating as one of the main products in the portfolio.
Energesis has vast experience in large geothermal projects and was created in the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The company was pioneer in Spain in carrying out double Thermal Response Tests (injecting and extracting heat) with a mobile unit. The TRT is very significant in order to design a geothermal project properly.
- We are very happy to affiliate with such a competent and ambitious company. I´m convinced that the timing is right considering the short-term downturn that the Spanish market has been through. And the fact that the techniques fit very well together improves the conditions for a successful cooperation, says Andreas Anderzon, marketing manager and responsible for export to Western Europe at Thermotech.
- Energesis is in a development path and it feels good to be able to develop the cooperation with a renowned supplier that stands for knowledge, quality and design, says Luis Romera Chordá, managing director at Energesis, in a comment to the dealer contract.
Spain stands before a large change from using electricity as the main heating source, to start using other heat sources such as geothermal heating and cooling pumps. Low temperature underfloor heating systems and heat pumps are a good, energy efficient and economical combination.
- The cooperation, with it´s focus on whole system solutions, is a strategic step in the right direction considering the development of Thermotech in the coming years, says Anders Andersson, managing director and part owner of Thermotech.
